Up for grabs is an Omega Speedmaster Pre-Moon
Reference 105.012-66 CB
249588XX serial number with extract of archives probably coming back to you as 1967 production. This serial is very well within range for 105.012-66 models.
Excellent vintage condition case with sharp edges. Original low pushers and skinny logo crown. CB case inner bevels are clearly visible.
Dial is original with metal applied logo. Some of the luminous material has chipped off from dial. Hands show cracking in lume and paint chips, but are original and correct hands.
Crystal was just replaced with OEM Omega hesalite one and is damage free.
Original and good DON bezel with faded color.
Caseback is original, nice clear Hippocampus on outside and clear stamps inside.
Bracelet is an Omega 1039 in tight and stretch free condition with 516 ends, dated 1970, fits a large wrist.
The watch winds smoothly and runs, but a service is recommended due to chronograph not functioning properly. The top button engages the chrono and it runs, but when you stop the chrono, it automaticlly resets, without stopping first. The price has been adjusted due to this and some lume missing on dial. As you know these 105.012 CB cases usually fetch low to mid teens without any issues.
