The serial number of this watch is correctly within range for “Straight Writing” Speedmaster
Excellent vintage condition case with sharp case. The watch still appears to have factory finish throughout. Winding crown has been replaced during past service.
Dial is original, stepped, nice patina throughout, tritium hands. The chrono sweep hand has been replaced with a straight hand at some point. Sold as found state.
Original Omega bezel with “Narrow C” is in excellent vintage condition.
Crystal is original Omega hesalite with logo in center.
Caseback is original Omega “Straight Writing”. Inside is correctly stamped 145.022-69. There is personalized “W.T.B.” engraving on outside, presumably initials.
The movement is original, fully functioning. Chrono runs, stops, resets back to zero. The movement is running at +10 second per day at around ~280 amplitude.
The bracelet is original Omega 1039 with 516 ends. Tight condition, fits about 7.5″ wrist. Dated 1971.
