Up for grabs is a Rolex Daytona
5.5 mil serial number circa 1978 production
This watch came direct from its original owner who is still living. Had it since new and paid $900 at his local AD. Recently found out the potential value of the watch and decided to part with it. Since he is not a collector, no box or papers were saved as he didn’t feel they were important.
Excellent vintage condition case with thick and sharp lugs. Numbers are very clear and visible.
Dial is original “Big Red”. Nice patina on plots and hands. Plots number 3,9, and 10 are partials. No relume, no refinish. no chips.
Bezel is MK2 bakelite without cracks or dents
Pushers are correct MK2
Caseback is original stamped CRS inside
Bracelet is a Rolex 78350 in tight condition, correct end-links, and 12 links.
No box or papers.
