Up for grabs is an Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch
reference 3590 B limited edition for 20th Anniversary of Apollo XI landing
482539XX serial number circa 1989 production
There were 3 versions of this watch made worldwide. There were 2000 examples made for US market with limited number engraved on side of the case. There were 250 examples made for German market with number engraved on side and finally 4000 examples made for the rest of the world with only “Apollo XI 1969” engraved on side of the case, without the limited number. This one was made for the US market and numbered 1065/2000
Case is unpolished with sharp edges and factory finishes.
Dial is damage free with yellow patina. Tritium and original hands.
Caseback is original and correct, stamped 145.022 inside.
The bracelet is correct and desirable Omega 1450 with 808 ends.
No box or papers. Watch winds smoothly, runs well at -10 seconds per day with ~290 amplitude. I see no tool marks on screws of movement or markings on caseback to indicate watchmaker’s intrusion. Assume the watch has not been serviced in past.
